Residential Life
A Home Away From Home
At DPS Mahagama, residential life is envisioned as an extension of the learning environment—a place where children experience care, discipline, independence, friendship and responsibility.
We want our residential programme to provide children with a safe, supportive and structured environment where they can learn, grow and develop healthy habits beyond the classroom.
More Than Accommodation
Residential life will provide opportunities for children to develop:
Independence
Learning to manage personal routines and responsibilities.
Discipline
Developing punctuality, cleanliness, order and respect for shared spaces.
Healthy Living
Balanced food, physical activity, adequate rest and healthy daily routines.
Community Living
Learning cooperation, empathy, sharing and respect for others.
Study & Support

When children learn to live responsibly, they become better prepared to lead responsibly.

Growing Through Everyday Routines
Residential life teaches children lessons that cannot always be taught through textbooks—self-discipline, time management, cooperation, cleanliness, responsibility and respect for others.
Our aim is to create a residential environment where children feel safe, cared for and encouraged to become increasingly independent.
Our Residential Values
CARE
Every child deserves to feel safe, respected and cared for.
DISCIPLINE
Healthy routines help children develop self-control and responsibility.
INDEPENDENCE
Children gradually learn to manage themselves and take responsibility for their choices.
COMMUNITY
Living together teaches cooperation, empathy, respect and consideration for others.
Our Commitment
We aspire to create a residential environment where children can learn independently, live responsibly and grow confidently—while knowing that caring adults are always there to guide and support them.
